Head of Marketing
We are a pediatric telehealth company based in Toronto and Montreal. Pediatricians and healthcare industry leaders founded us. Our mission is to enable equitable access to quality care for every child in Canada.
We are actively recruiting a seasoned Head of Marketing with 8-10 years of experience successfully creating, launching, and growing consumer brands in Canada, focusing on winning the hearts and minds of moms, dads, and kids. The successful candidate will build on our brand development work with a leading health-focused branding agency and craft an integrated marketing strategy to drive awareness, user engagement, retention, and advocacy. This role offers an opportunity for autonomy and impact; you will join a venture with committed seed funding and work directly with the co-founding team, CEO, Head of Product, and investor and advisory groups.
The successful candidate will have a sparkling track record of developing and executing winning marketing and communications strategies, from concept to completion. They will be invested in building relationships and partnerships with consumers and businesses while generating incredible results. They are skilled at working with cross-functional groups to advance company vision and make critical decisions that define company outcomes. They are as comfortable rolling up their sleeves and completing the work as they build successful teams from the ground up.
Create a brand that Canadian kids and parents trust and love
Develop overall national/provincial marketing strategy, budgets, and resource requirements
Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns by working with agency partners, the leadership team, and third-party vendors/freelancers
Set strategy and tactical GTM for our marketing initiatives
Create, manage and execute content and community strategy to target, convert, engage, and ‘be there for parents and children across all channels, including website, social media, blog, video, community, programmatic, email, and other communication channels
Craft our voice by developing first-class copy across all channels with support from junior team members and empowered by a copywriting and SEO tech stack
Manage the production and delivery of creative assets for all marketing activities by working with agency partners and freelancers
Conduct thorough performance analysis of all customer acquisition efforts using existing conversion tracking tools and dashboards, evaluating creative messaging, and A/B testing
Perform quality assurance of all internal and external marketing deliverables to ensure alignment with company mission, vision, and brand guidelines
Perform internal workflow and competitive analysis to develop recommendations for marketing initiative improvements throughout the customer journey
Collaborate with product, patient experience, provider engagement, and operations teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of messaging across all channels

A curious and relentless nature, ability to get things done and build from the ground up where necessary Bachelors or master’s degree in marketing or adjacent field with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience
