Project Coordinator, Customized Product

Description:

The Project Coordinator, Customized Product is responsible for the project management amongst manufacturing and internal design teams for their custom product orders from design to final production.

Requirements:

  • Liaise with Manufacturing, Sales Department and Industrial Designer to identify/define the customization requirements, scope, and objectives
  • Coordinate with factories closely to initiate, manage, and complete customization project
  • Setup time frame and analyze risks
  • Monitor project progress and troubleshoot any issues that arise
  • Ensure internal and customer standards/requirements are met
  • Communicate with Chinese partners in Mandarin daily
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications:
  • Fluency in Mandarin is required
  • Design experience an asset (i.e. working with Adobe Creative Suite, Keyshot, Visualize and Solidworks (or equivalent tools))
  • Desire to learn basic design principles as to support Adobe Creative Suite, Keyshot, Visualize and Solidworks use required
  • University degree or equivalent combination of education & experience
  • Basic understanding of Manufacturing processes
  • Experience in project coordination
  • Deep understanding of hardware customization process/principle/limitations
  • Knowledge of hardware production and assembly
  • Detail oriented and with a proven track record of managing multiple projects
  • Excellent communication and consultative skills
  • Highly organized and able to multitask
  • Self-driven and proactive
  • Experience in process creation
  • Knowledge of customer success processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient and active listener
  • Demonstrate assertiveness and influencing ability
