The Senior Electronics Engineer is responsible for providing design, engineering, and technical expertise to ad hoc projects to improve performance and robustness of solutions, and assisting and coordinating work on critical product issues. You will be required to plan and build the necessary facilities, tools and teams to enable the early development of electronics control systems.

Requirements
• To provide resolution on the specific technical challenges and new design requirements for each key technology block with focus on:
• Ability to define and understand product’s electronics system architecture
• Thermal control systems using ceramics
• Know how for various sensing technologies;
• Know how for Electronics system architecture;
• Experience with MEMS
• Has experience developing consumer product that are battery powered
• Know how in product hardware and software integration;
• Know how in analog and digital electronics;
• Know how electronics manufacturing processes
• To review and sign-off the product specification when required
• Troubleshooting significant operational and departmental issues that have been prioritized by management. These will take precedence over routine tasks
• To identify opportunities and implement departmental improvements relating to engineering and design through Standards, Tools, Processes and Design guides across Global locations
• To guide and mentor engineers encouraging professional behaviour via best practice and standards
• Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Relevant university degree or equivalent combination of education & experience
• Four + years of engineering experience
• Self-driven and proactive nature
• International experience an asset
