Summary:
We are currently leading the search for a Director of HR to work with a best in class company in North Charleston. This position would report and work directly alongside the CEO and be responsible for both the day-to-day operations and the long-term strategic processes. This role requires someone passionate about implementing new procedures and best practices across an organization and also a track record of recruiting A-Player candidates.
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Talent Planning:
    • Forecast needs and develops effective recruitment strategies to build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline, increase the quality of hires, and reduce time to hire
    • Coach, train, educate, and influence hiring leaders on effective interview techniques and workforce planning practices
  •  Sourcing: 
    • Seek out top candidates through research, cold calling, web searches, referrals, social media, job fairs, open houses, and other avenues for current and future openings
    • Manage the full cycle recruitment process including resume reviews, phone interviews, interviews by hiring managers, decision meetings, extending offers/negotiation, create offer letters, and facilitating the on-boarding process
  • Performance Management:
    • Implement and oversee programs from start to finish involving on-boarding, department objectives, policies and priorities.
    • Lead/Participate in ongoing process improvement projects to enhance the recruitment process
    • Assist with creating an exceptional office environment for people to grow
    • Hold monthly and quarterly employee events to accentuate the employee experience 
 
Required Experience & Skills:
  • 10+ year previous operations management experience 
  • 3+ years experience in HR or Talent Management 
  • Track record of sourcing and recruiting top talent
  • Strong listener with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office experience including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s Degree
