Named Sales Account Director

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
We are leading the search for a Named Sales Account Director to join a SaaS software company on their Enterprise Team. The Named Account Sales Director will be focused on growing business within the existing current Enterprise-level accounts, as well as securing new large Enterprise logos (eg. Fortune 1000) for the company.

Position type: Full time, permanent
  • Identify new sales opportunities within the assigned accounts and penetrate new divisions (ie, sell “up and across”)
  • Develop strategic account plans and mapping to grow the sales pipeline within the Named Account funnel
  • Prospect and close net new Large Account business
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Foster and maintain relationships with existing accounts as well as new prospects
  • Utilizing CRM tools such as Salesforce and SalesLoft
  • Conduct/lead sales presentations/demos for prospects remotely or in person, if needed
  • 5+ years experience in consultative sales/solution selling environment to large accounts at the executive level
  • 3+ years experience in software sales (ideally SaaS)
  • Proven ability to work  a complex and multi-stage sales cycle
  • Experience with solution selling into CTOs, Solutions Architects or C-Level Executives
  • Strong background in target account selling/mapping and prospecting for brand new Enterprise logos
  • Strong presentation and persuasion skills
  • Proven ability and success complex and/or technical software offers in a manner and in terms appealing and suitable for executive personnel
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota
  • Experience with SalesLoft or similar CRM tool
  • Strong business acumen
  • Confident and independent salesperson
  • Excellent communicator with strong cadence
  • Bachelor’s Degree
