Our client is a leading "one-stop shop" North American Adult Novelty Toy site, and they are looking to add an experienced Strategic Marketing Professional to their team. We are looking for someone who can take this already successful brand to the next level. In this role, you will be working closely with the two co-founders, and coming up with creative marketing strategies to redefine the entire Digital Marketing experience.

  • Influencing and Collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute topical, cheeky, and fun marketing initiatives that speak to the target audience
  • Developing and Refining the existing digital marketing strategy and roadmap - using your creative background, you will curate various strategic initiatives, such as email marketing campaigns, product launches and promotions, oversee development of creative assets and infographics, internal documentation, analytics reports, and interactive social media campaigns
  • Communicating the brand’s story throughout all channels (direct mail/email, social media, blogs, print, presentations, and digital ads), maintaining consistency across all content
  • Reviewing Google Analytics Data to understand areas of improvement, segmentation and remarketing to existing customers
  • Take the lead on any projects related to marketing initiatives, for example, the creation of rollout plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables
  • Understanding industry trends and marketing best practices
  • Occasional travel to tradeshows
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years in a similar role
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Psychology, or Public Relations
  • Experience running and executing marketing and advertising projects
  • Strong background in digital media
  • Ability to understand and utilize data to form a strategic marketing rollout plans that are well targeted, creative, unique, and topical
  • Strong knowledge of eCommerce business practices is an asset
  • Experience working in both B2C and B2B marketing environments
  • Extremely strong communicator, both written and oral, with a remarkable eye for detail
  • Ability to work cohesively with cross-functional teams to lead and execute marketing strategies
  • Strong project management skills
  • Technical aptitude to use Google Analytics, SEO and the Microsoft suite of applications
