Customer Service Representative

Location: Oakville, Ontario, Canada
We are leading the search for a dynamic individual to join our client's team as a Customer Service Representative for their Oakville Ontario location. Our client is a global leading manufacturer of pool equipment.

This position is responsible for managing the customer experience by providing essential and excellent customer service and sales support for both product lines (pool and industrial).  You will work closely with many stakeholders in their business from their product dealer's and the distributor network and will act as a liaison role with internal sales teams and operational departments.

  • Create and manage sales orders in AS400 system for new Purchase Orders
  • Continually maintain a thorough knowledge of special promotions and customer pricing programs
  • Respond proactively to a high volume of phone and email inquiries
  • Manage assigned accounts to ensure that commitments are met
  • Process Return Goods Authorizations for customers
  • Work cross-functionally to support marketing activities for the sales team across Canada
  • Resolve shipment discrepancies with carriers
  • Provide product information to both dealers and homeowners
  • Coordinate customer requirements with the operations, shipping, and sales teams
  • Other duties as assigned
  • 3 to 5 years (or more) experience in a Customer Service role
  • Outstanding verbal & written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Extensive use of Excel in particular
  • A proven track record of solid problem solving and resolution while managing client’s expectations
  • Ability to prioritize and utilize good judgment in decision making.
  • A desire to continuously learn new products and grow your knowledge in our business
